Kurt Andrae
Commercial Real Estate has been the focal point for the vast majority of Kurt’s 25+ year career. He has generated over $2 Billion of CRE loan facilities as a commercial lender for various banks while also having created over 300 residential lots and a commercial center as a private developer. This is in addition to his experience as president of a start-up bank, as well as a small business owner, both of which required him to locate, negotiate, lease and build out space appropriate for the particular venture. Kurt earned his BBA in finance from UW-Whitewater and his MBA in Finance (Real Estate emphasis), Marketing & Organizational Behavior from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.

Back in the late 80’s I got my professional start in the Commercial Lending industry. As a graduate of UW-Whitewater, I was fortunate to be accepted into an Internship Program between the school and a local bank. That opened the door to an internship at a bank in Chicago, and ultimately a commercial lending career at the old M&I Bank.
Over time, my career evolved into much more than just lending, as real estate sales became a passion. So 30+ years later I can offer my clients more than just expertise when purchasing a commercial property, I can guide them to the right lender that understands the nature of the property they want to buy and has lending flexibility that adapts to fit their business model. It’s this experience on both sides of the table that really does make a difference.
On a day to day basis, I spend a lot of time structuring and reviewing contracts. While I understand the necessities of the legal process, a handshake still means a lot to me. I consider myself an advisor, a relationship manager, and a confidant in each and every transaction. Having your business is very important to me. But having your respect and trust is ultimately my goal.
